Troy Sebastian is a Ktunaxa writer from the community of ʔaq̓am located at the confluence of the St. Mary’s and Kootenay Rivers. His writing has been in The Malahat Review, The New Quarterly, Curious, and the Ktuqckakyam.  Troy is a recipient of the 2017 Hnatyshyn REVEAL Indigenous Arts Award and graduate of  the Indigenous Writers Program at The Banff Centre. nupqu ʔak·ǂam̓ is a broadcaster, public speaker and filmmaker living in Lekwungen territory with his partner. His writing will be published in Quill and Quire as well as The Walrus in early 2018.
